– Vaccination of people at risk: The simultaneous flu and covid-19 vaccination campaign in the CAV began on September 26 in nursing homes, and from today it will be the turn of people at risk; over 65 years, people suffering from some type of pathology, pregnant women and health workers, social services or caregivers of vulnerable people.
– Registration for the merit contest of Education: The Department of Education of the Basque Government published last Friday the Public Employment Offer (OPE) of merit competition with 3,178 vacancies for teachers. Applications can be submitted between October 3 and 31.
– Brazil election results: Lula da Silva prevails in the first round and will face Bolsonaro in the second. The leader of the Workers’ Party has obtained 48.39% of the votes, while the far-right has achieved 43.23%. The victory is tighter than the polls predicted, so the uncertainty is greater ahead of the second round on October 30.
