Malaysian campaign group Capital A announced the sale of its aviation business to a separate campaign group on January 8, Malay Mail reported.
According to Tony Fernandez, CEO of AirAsia Aviation Group Ltd (AAAGL), this move will streamline the management of both Capital A’s non-aviation assets and its separate group of companies operating in the aviation and aviation industry. .
He noted that after the split of the campaign group, Capital A shareholders will receive publicly traded shares of the second campaign. In this way, Fernández believes, it will allow them to make more informed decisions when investing more.
“Following the sale, the aviation business will benefit from focused management and clearly defined strategic direction, which will enhance the aviation business’s ability to capitalize on growth opportunities, expand market share and, ultimately, achieve greater profitability.”Fernandez said.
