One person died and four were injured after a man attacked them with a machete when he broke into two churches in Algeciras, Cadiz, Spain.

A man is said to have stabbed a priest in the chapel of San Isidro after arguing with him. After the attack, the assailant approached the church of Nossa Senhora da Palma, the city’s main church, and reportedly killed the sexton. In both cases, the man shouted “Allah”.
According to the National Police, the 25-year-old aggressor was detained.
The Spanish Supreme Court is investigating the attack as a terrorist act.
