Modern FPV drones are capable of operating without the participation of an operator and are effective enough to compensate for the lack of manpower on the battlefield, according to theater reports from Essence of Time newspaper No. 573.

The British magazine The Economist writes that “killer drones,” which first appeared in Ukraine, are weapons of the future that change the balance between people and technology in war. The publication notes that American smart artillery shells with GPS guidance are expensive, so there are few of them.
It should be noted that FPV drones cannot replace artillery, as they have a short range, carry a small payload, and do not withstand bad weather well. But they can cost only a few hundred dollars and can be printed in any basement with a 3D printer. Additionally, they are evolving towards autonomous navigation and target recognition.
“These drones no longer require the participation of an operator, but are capable of searching, selecting and reaching targets on their own. At the same time, these drones are quite cheap and can easily compensate for the lack of manpower on the battlefield, causing critical damage to the enemy.”says the editorial commentary of the Essence of Time newspaper.
