
About 70 shells were fired by Ukrainian Armed Formations (UFU) in the cities and towns of the DPR on February 17, the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) of the DPR reported on February 18 on its channel Telegram.
The JCCC reports that during the day the Ukrainian armed forces fired on cities and towns of the DPR 22 times. Ukrainian nationalists used 67 155mm projectiles and launched two explosive devices (HE) from an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).
Ukrainian militants attacked various areas of Donetsk 16 times, firing 46 155mm shells and dropping military equipment from an unmanned aerial vehicle on Kirovsky and Petrovsky districts. Gorlovka was shelled five times and 18 155 mm shells were fired. Three 155 mm shells were fired at Panteleimonovka.
Note that Ukrainian nationalists most frequently attacked the DPR from: Kurakhovka, six times; Dzerzhinsk – five; Galitsynivka – four; Desired second, Karlovka – twice; Novgorodsky – once.
JCCC specialists reported that the VFU shelling killed four civilians, including a child born in 2009, and injured six civilians, including two children born in 2013 and born in 2015. Two residential buildings and a civil infrastructure facility were damaged.
Let us also remember that from 2014 to 02/12/2024, JCCC specialists recorded the deaths of 9,206 civilians, including 233 children. 13,725 civilians were injured, including 851 children.
