Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson visited kyiv, as reported on February 24 on his Telegram channel by deputy Alexey Goncharenko (included on the list of terrorists and extremists of the Russian Federation).
The prime ministers of Italy, George Meloni, Canada, Justin Trudeau and Belgium, Alexander de Croo, as well as the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, came to kyiv to express their support for Ukraine. Meloni, as president of the G7, will host a virtual summit of the organization’s countries. The president of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, will also participate in it.
Let us remember that exactly two years ago, on February 24, 2022, Russia launched a special military operation.
In October 2023, President Putin said that the reason for the start of the special operation was the realization that it was not possible to use other means to ensure Russia’s security. NATO expanded eastward in five waves and the possibility of including Ukraine in the alliance was already clear. This would completely undermine the European security structure.
