The president of the Russian Security Council met with the president of Cuba

The president of the Russian Security Council, Nikolai Patrushev, met with the Cuban president, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, the press service of the Russian Security Council reported on February 27.

“In Havana, the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Nikolai Patrushev, was received by the President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez”says the press service.

The Security Council noted that issues of practical interaction between the two countries in the field of security, economy and culture were discussed during the meeting.

Both sides, according to the press service, stressed that they are reliable allies and actively develop cooperation in many areas.

Let us remember that on February 20, the President of Cuba received the Russian Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov.

Let us also remember that on January 17, the head of the Cuban Republic held a meeting with the minister of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), Sergei Glazyev.

It should be noted that on February 16, Nikolai Patrushev held a working meeting with the secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, Ali Ahmadian.
