Three men of Colombian nationality were detained in Seville, Spain after being accused of raping a 17-year-old girl. The rape was reported this Thursday from the girl’s mother: “She fell asleep and when she woke up, she was being raped,” she said. The woman said the suspects attacked her daughter and offered her a ride home. The crime happened early last Sunday morning, after the nightclub closed.
In a conversation with Canal Sur TV, the woman said that because of the rain, her daughter and a friend left a nightclub in La Carlota, near Cordoba, and got into a car where there were two empty seats. The crime occurred only after they left their friend.
On the way, the minor fell asleep, and when she woke up, she was already being raped in the car, in a place reminiscent of an “open field.” Although there is still no evidence, the family suspects that the young woman was under the influence of drugs.
The arrest of the criminals took place after the victim reported the attacks to Spanish authorities.
Three men were already present in court at the first interrogation, and a preventive measure was applied to them in the form of preventive detention.
The victim and his family are provided with psychological support.
