Suspect of helping plan Zelensky’s murder detained in Poland

This Thursday, a man was arrested in Poland on suspicion of intending to provide Russia with information about the security of Rzeszow-Jasionka Airport, located in Poland, in order to help the Kremlin assassinate the president. Vladimir Zelensky.

“According to the investigation, the defendant’s intention was to collect and transmit to the aggressor country information about the security of the Rzeszow-Jasionka airport, including to help the Russian special services plan a possible assassination attempt on the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky during his stay in Poland,” the Security Service said in a statement. Ukraine (SBU).

According to information provided by the SBU, the man was recruited by Russian intelligence services.

Polish prosecutors accused him of being willing to act in the interests of a foreign intelligence service.
