Several explosions have shaken the Ukrainian capital, kyiv, early this Monday, as confirmed by the authorities. At the moment, there is no official information on possible victims, although the State Emergency Service speaks of several victims.
“Multiple explosions in the Shevchenkiv district, in the center of the capital. All services are up and running. There will be details later,” said the mayor of kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, in a brief message on his Telegram account.
Anton Gerashchenko, adviser to the Ukrainian Ministry of the Interior, has pointed out via Twitter that “the center of kyiv has been attacked with kamikaze drones.” According to the Ukrainian news agency Ukrinform, several vehicles are burning at the site of one of the impacts.
