An employee of one of the largest hospitals in the Brazilian city of Fortaleza, the capital of the state of Ceará, 29-year-old Francisco Misael Souza da Silva was shot and decapitated by the husband of a colleague, who suspected his wife of interacting with the victim.

According to Ceará State Minister of Public Security Samuel Elaniu, the killer had always been extremely possessive and jealous and, since he was fired from the hospital, he demanded that his wife quit her job so that she would not live with other men. .
