The brothers of Hugo Polaco, the number two of the Super Dragons imprisoned as part of the Praetorian trial, were arrested last weekend for are suspected of committing 32 vehicle thefts, ten of which were attempts. They were heard on Tuesday at the Penafiel Court of Instruction for four hours.
Diamantino, 34, was placed under house arrest in Kustojas prison. Manuel, 29, was brought to the police station every two weeks and was banned from leaving the municipality of Vila Real.
In October 2023, suspects entered the sacristy of the Vidago Church and took the priest’s car keys, stealing the vehicle. They used this car to commit several crimes in the north of the country. They also stole goods from the car of another priest in Bayao, who was left without 2 thousand euros. The duo also stole cars from worshipers during mass.
