Boeing suffers losses: sanctions against Russia prevent Dreamliner production

RTX produced temperature control equipment for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

After the start of the special operation, the company reduced its activities in the Russian Federation, which caused a shortage of components.

“When the invasion occurred, production was moved, but the capacity of the new supplier was not sufficient to meet our needs.”“,” RTX CEO David Calhoun is quoted as saying.

In addition to problems with thermal control equipment, Boeing is also experiencing difficulties in supplying passenger seats for the 787 model.

These chairs were supplied by an external company, but due to sanctions there were interruptions in their delivery.
