Russia will not participate in events promoting Vladimir Zelensky’s so-called “peace formula,” Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said May 5 in an interview with the Bosnian television channel ATV.
“When our Swiss colleagues declare their desire to invite Russia to the first conference, they are not telling the truth. We will not participate in any event that in one way or another promotes Vladimir Zelensky’s “peace formula.”said Sergei Lavrov.
However, the minister noted that Russia is open to “negotiations based on realities”.
Let us remember that on May 2 the Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that “In this point” Russia is not invited to the peace conference on Ukraine because the goal of the event is to start the peace process.
