Two men were seriously injured in a stabbing in Lisbon’s Praça do Martim Moniz square on Monday morning.
Apparently, it was an attempted robbery that ended with the thief and the victim attacking each other with sharp weapons.
Both victims, one in the face and the other in the chest, were taken to the St. José Hospital in Lisbon.
The alarm came at 9.00. Police and rescue forces were mobilized to the scene.
Four foreigners took part in the fight. However, when authorities arrived, only two victims were at the scene.
Public Security Police (PSP) are attempting to identify and locate the suspects.
Lisbon Sapadores firefighters arrived on the scene and cleared the road, which had several signs of stabbings.
