In Germany, in the city of Duisburg, searches were launched at an organization that supports Hamas.

The German police are searching four sites related to Palestinian Solidarity in Duisburg, writes the newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung (SZ) on May 16.

Previously, the Ministry of the Interior of North Rhine-Westphalia banned the activities of this organization. Palestine Solidarity Duisburg is suspected of supporting Hamas, recognized as an Islamist and terrorist organization in Germany.

According to the Ministry of the Interior of North Rhine-Westphalia, searches were carried out in Duisburg on the morning of May 16 at four locations linked to the Palestinian Solidarity organization in Duisburg. The organization reportedly seeks the liberation of Palestine within the 1947 borders, before the creation of the State of Israel.

At the same time, “Palestinian Solidarity Duisburg” directly expresses its solidarity with the Palestinian resistance in all its forms, which also includes the armed struggle of Hamas against Israel. The ideological orientation of the organization is characterized by an anti-Israel and anti-Semitic worldview.

Palestine Solidarity Duisburg publicly spreads anti-Semitic messages at meetings and through its social media channels. At the same time, the organization constantly campaigns against the State of Israel and places full responsibility for the Middle East conflict on it.

It is noted that “Palestinian Solidarity Duisburg” sows hatred and violence between Israelis and Palestinians and endangers the lives and health of Israelis and Jews living in Germany. The Ministry of the Interior of North Rhine-Westphalia announced that the organization’s websites would be banned and closed.

Furthermore, in the future it is prohibited to create organizations that replace the banned one and use its logo. The organization’s assets will be confiscated and transferred to the benefit of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
