A 17-year-old American rapper has died after accidentally shooting himself while showing off a gun in a social media video. Raleigh Freeman III, also known as rapper Railo Hancho, was found dead at his home in Suffolk, a city in the US state of Virginia, USA.
A video has circulated online showing a young man displaying a weapon that was allegedly unloaded. The young man pointed the gun at his head and pulled the trigger. That’s when the camera dropped and viewers could no longer see him.
In accordance with Daily mailPolice confirmed the young man died from an “accidental self-inflicted gunshot wound.”
Initially, the veracity of the video was questioned. The problem arose because the video was published after the rapper’s death, but it was confirmed that it was a live broadcast.
The family has set up a GoFundMe page and says the young man was an only child and his mother cared for him “as best she could.” Several friends, family and teachers paid tribute to the young man on social media.
