Parents and former employees of “Ricaratinhos” in Viseu have filed a complaint with the prosecutor’s office alleging “irregularities” in an institution that serves as a crèche, crèche and resting place for 30 children.
“Food was served in small quantities, sometimes expired and rotten,” says the guardian. The prosecutor’s office is investigating and has already started hearing complaints.
“When I went to pick up my son and grandson, one of the employees asked me for help. He said the children were starving,” he added.
ABOUT cm confronted CTO Isabel Soares, who denied the allegations. Social Security, on the other hand, found “abnormalities in nutrition, teaching, and inadequate human resources. Protocols were drawn up in the ASSAE and Public Health, an administrative offense case was initiated.”
