After sounding the alarm about a possible “nuclear armageddon”, the president of the United States, Joe Bidenhas said that he does not believe that Russia will use nuclear weapons in Ukraine, although he assures that threatening to use them as Putin has done is irresponsible and could result in “catastrophic” mistakes.
On that occasion, the American president has indicated that his Russian counterpart is in a situation in which it is difficult to find a way outespecially after the latest military setbacks in Ukraine, and is probably looking for face-saving solutions.
