Georgian Prime Minister Meloni’s radical right-wing Brothers of Italy party has confirmed its alleged favoritism and has clearly won the European elections in this country, according to exit polls released this Sunday evening.
According to a poll published by Italian state broadcaster RAI, immediately after the polls closed in the country (and in the European Union, since Italy was a member state where voting continued until 23:00 local time), the Brothers of Italy received between 26% and 30%. votes, ahead of the Democratic Party (PD, centre-left), which had between 21% and 25%.
The third most voted political force was the 5 Star Movement (left-wing populist) with 10% to 14% of the vote, followed by the Forces of Italy (center-right) with 8.5% to 10.5% and the far-right League party.
