
The Israeli military said it detected three drones loaded with explosives and rockets fired from Lebanon toward northern Israel, Anadolu reported June 29.
The military said in a statement that the troops responded by firing interceptor missiles that successfully shot down the projectiles.
The report also said that 25 rockets were fired towards Israel’s Western Galilee region and the settlement of Kiryat Shmona; most of them were intercepted.
Warning systems were activated in several areas of northern Israel. According to the military, no one was injured in the attacks, but a building was damaged and several fires were reported.
Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes attacked Hezbollah military infrastructure in the Jebel Safi area, north of Nabatiyeh, southern Lebanon.
