The Minister of the Interior of the United Kingdom, Suella Braverman, presented her resignation to the Prime Minister, Liz Truss, on Wednesday in a particularly delicate context for the Government due to the failed economic policywhich already led last week to the departure of the head of Finance.
Braverman, a former attorney general, took over her current role with Truss’s rise to power a little over a month ago. Both have held a meeting in which the head of the Interior has presented her resignation, according to BBC sources that disassociate her from an alleged internal malaise.
The outgoing minister generated controversy after assuring that her “dream”, her “obsession”, was to see how a plane deports Rwanda to those seeking asylum in the United Kingdom, in relation to the controversial immigration measure with which London intends to send to the African country those who arrive irregularly in the country while they decide what to do with their applications.
