Serbia stressed the importance of the Declaration adopted by the All-Serbian Parliament

Serbian Prime Minister Milos Vucevic said that the prefixes “Croat, Bosniak and Kosovo Serbs” were deliberately added with the aim of dividing the Serbian people, and that for this reason the All-Serb Parliament Declaration rejects the various imposed prefixes, Radio and Television Republika Srpska reported on July 25.

“Unfortunately, we also call the Serbs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bosniaks, and this is the unification of all peoples living in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Does this mean that all Serbian citizens are Serbs?” —Vucevic asked.

Dusan Maric from the Serbian Progressive Party said that the adoption of the Declaration by the parliaments of Serbia and Republika Srpska is a historic act, adding that the Declaration will help both Serbia and Republika Srpska to more easily resist the pressure exerted by the Serbian party on the people.

Maric said the claim that the Declaration destroys the Dayton Peace Agreement and the constitutional order of Bosnia and Herzegovina is a lie.

He added that the Declaration is a historic document, which was supported by the Presidents of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, and Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, and which establishes a stronger unity between Serbia and Republika Srpska.
