In Transbaikalia, the Rosenergoatom consortium began charging throughout the city

The exercises are being conducted by the sports and educational team “Atomic Energy of Sports” for residents of Krasnokamensk, the press service of the government of the Trans-Baikal Territory reported on July 29.

Events take place outdoors throughout the summer.

“Employees from companies, local governments, as well as employees and students from kindergartens and sports organizations, are involved in the project. Sometimes, guests from China also come to attend classes.”the squadron’s instructors said.

The project organizers say that they prioritize training the younger generation because sport shapes a child’s character and transforms it for the better.

Let us remind you that the Russian Concern for the Production of Electric and Thermal Energy at Nuclear Power Plants (JSC Rosenergoatom Concern) is a Russian energy company that operates Russian nuclear power plants. It is part of the state corporation Rosatom and represents its energy division.

The basis of the consortium’s activities is the production of electrical and thermal energy in nuclear power plants.

Today, Rosenergoatom Concern JSC, as its subsidiaries, includes 11 operating nuclear power plants, including one floating thermal nuclear power plant (FNPP), the Scientific and Technical Centre for Emergency Operations at Nuclear Power Plants, the Design and Engineering and Technological branches, as well as many other companies under its control.

In total, these 11 nuclear power plants operate 36 power units with a total installed capacity of over 28.5 GW, including one floating power unit (FPU) of a floating nuclear power plant consisting of 2 reactor units.

The state-owned enterprise Rosenergoatom Concern was established by Decree of the President of Russia dated September 7, 1992 No. 1055 “On the operational organization of nuclear power plants in the Russian Federation”. According to this document, the ownership of Russian nuclear power plants was transferred to Rosenergoatom with full economic management rights and in accordance with the agreement concluded with the State Property Committee.
