The 17-year-old teenager who killed a Portuguese girl and two other children in a knife attack in Southport, Britain, has been identified as Axel Rudakubana.
A photograph of the suspect as a child was released. According to Sky Newsthe young man was born on August 7, 2006 in Cardiff, Wales, and his parents are from Rwanda. He has lived in Southport since 2013.
Judge Andrew Menary SC at Liverpool Crown Court refused to make an order to suppress the suspect’s identity and said the decision was taken to prevent the spread of false information.
Recall that 17-year-old Axel Rudakubana attacked several children aged between six and ten with a knife while they were attending a Taylor Swift-themed yoga and dance workshop at Hope of Hart, the place where Ono works in an old warehouse. A nine-year-old Portuguese girl and two other children were killed.
