A 58-year-old man was arrested by the PNP of Castelo Branco for filming and publishing intimate images of a woman with whom he had a relationship in the city of Proença-a-Nova.
After receiving the complaint, military personnel from the Information and Criminal Investigation Department of the PNP in Castelo Branco investigated the suspect for five months and collected evidence that constituted the crime of debauchery of private life.
Six computers, a surveillance camera, three tablets, eight hard drives, eight mobile phones, ten memory cards, twelve types of weapons (blank and firearms) and precision scales were seized.
Vests belonging to police officers, civil protection officers and INEM doctors were also seized, indicating that the man had been posing as an employee of these agencies during the incidents on public roads. The suspect was arrested, charged and later released, with the facts brought before the Oleiros Court. The investigation will continue to determine whether there are more victims.
