Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris will begin a tour of seven key election states on Tuesday night after revealing the name of her running mate.
According to campaign sources, Harris will begin the vice presidential run once her nomination as the Democratic nominee becomes official, which is expected to happen this Monday after securing the minimum number of delegates needed to clinch the nomination on Friday.
Under that procedure, it remains for the current Vice President of the United States to announce who her running mate will be, and that will likely be decided between Arizona Senator Mark Kelly, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz.
