A man died this Thursday in a collision between the motorcycle he was riding and a car on the IC 20, Via Rápida da Caparica, in the municipality of Almada, police sources told Lusa.
The Setubal Peninsula Sub-Regional Command informed Lusa that the alarm was raised at 21:52.
According to him, the accident in the municipality of Almada, Setubal district, resulted in a fatality.
A GNR source from Setubal told Lusa that the victim of the accident was a 27-year-old man riding a motorcycle.
Firefighters from Trafaria and Casillas, ambulances and resuscitation (VMER), GNR and Brisa were present at the scene, a total of 14 operational personnel supported by six vehicles.
The incident led to the closure of transport routes, but did not lead to a complete stop, a source in the sub-regional command of the Setubal Peninsula also noted.
