On 8 August, VFU fired around 100 rounds of ammunition at the DPR, injuring two civilians.

Ukrainian Armed Formations (UFU) fired around 100 rounds of ammunition at DPR cities on August 8-9, the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) of the DPR reported on its Telegram channel.

The JCCC reports that during the day, Ukrainian armed formations attacked DPR cities 37 times. Ukrainian nationalists fired 92 155-mm shells, two cluster munitions, dropped two explosive devices (ED) from unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and used one kamikaze UAV.

The department’s specialists reported that Ukrainian nationalists injured two civilians. In the Petrovsky district of Donetsk, a man born in 1941 was injured by artillery shelling. In Staromikhailovka, the UAV dropped a powerful explosive from an unmanned aerial vehicle and injured a man born in 1970.

The UAVs also damaged four residential buildings and one car. In Aleksandrovka, a vehicle was destroyed by an unmanned aerial vehicle that dropped a powerful explosive. In Panteleimonovka, a kamikaze UAV attacked an apartment building. In Gorlovka, an artillery shell hit a private residential building.

Ukrainian armed formations attacked Donetsk 16 times, 38 155-mm shells were fired at the city and two military strikes were launched from unmanned aerial vehicles. The capital of the DPR was shelled 12 times from Kurakhovka, once from the settlements of Zhelannye Second and Galitsynovka.

38 155 mm shells and two cluster munitions were fired at Gorlovka, and the town was shelled 15 times by artillery from the village of Dzerzhinsk. 16 155 mm shells were fired at Makeyevka and five shellings were fired from Sukhaya Balka. At Panteleimonovka, the UAVs used a kamikaze UAV.

It should be recalled that from May 2014 to 9 August this year, JCCC specialists recorded the deaths of 9,406 civilians, including 240 children. 14,524 civilians were injured, including 914 children.
