A 53-year-old man, a truck driver, died after being stabbed in the stomach at a house in Marinha das Ondas, Figueira da Foz.
The 72-year-old attacker himself alerted the authorities.
They knew each other from sleeping in the house on the top floor of the restaurant. The driver sometimes slept there.
From what KM could determine, the two men had already had disagreements. According to a restaurant employee, “nothing predicted that this would happen.”
Figueira da Foz volunteer firefighters also carried out resuscitation manoeuvres, but without success.
The body was taken to the Coimbra Institute of Forensic Medicine.
Representatives of GNR and PJ were also at the scene of the incident and are conducting an investigation.
