A young woman in her 20s says she was raped by three men who accompanied her after a night of partying at a nightclub in Fafe. The sexual assault left the victim alone and scared in the Felgueiras area early yesterday morning. She filed a complaint with the GNR yesterday and was sent to the Medical-Legal Directorate for examination. The investigation has been transferred to the Porto Judicial Police. According to authorities, the attack took place just after 4am yesterday morning. The girl had gone out with a friend to have fun and the evening ended at a nightclub in the industrial area of Fafe, where they met up with other friends. When they left the premises, the girl agreed to continue the night elsewhere with a group of men. The friend chose to return home and the young victim followed her in his car, accompanied by the trio. The sexual assault took place in a place between the municipalities of Felgueiras and Lousada. Around 6:00 a.m., alone and scared after the attack, she asked for help from family members who found her. A complaint was then filed with the GNR. Yesterday, the young woman underwent a forensic examination, which confirmed the rape. He reportedly told authorities that he knew at least one of the attackers. The investigation has been transferred to the SP, which is now trying to establish the identity of the trio of rapists.
