About 30 kilos of cocaine were found on a beach in Cherbourg, France, on Saturday after fragments of previous drug packages were found in the English Channel.
In total, more than two tons of cocaine, packaged in sealed bags, some of which were attached to life jackets, were seized by police officers who deployed a coast watch operation in the area.
