In the publications that he makes on social networks, the magistrate directly indicates that this is an advertisement. He even includes #PUB or #Publicidade in the texts that accompany the product photos. “#KingXGillettePT allows you to create your own unique style and offers the right beard care. #publ”. Or “#PUB. More time for you! Swiffer Sweeper with 360° rotating head cleans everywhere.” These are two examples.
Francisco Guedes’ Facebook page is public and, as cm proven, from June 2021 there are publications related to brands and products. cm tried to get the reaction of Francisco Guedes, but so far without success.
interrogated cmPresident of the Union of Magistrates of the Prosecutor’s Office, Adão Carvalho, stated that “if the behavior of a magistrate constitutes a disciplinary offence, the CSMMP must learn the necessary lessons.”
Several judges contacted cm declare that engaging in paid activities is incompatible with the performance of the official duties of the prosecutor’s office. An issue may contain paid advertising or a suggestion of articles.
