Paul Mitchell was charged with assault and trespassing during a game between Aston Villa and Birmingham City in 2019 when he hit player Jack Grealish. He was sentenced to 14 weeks in prison, of which he served only four.
The man was also banned from watching football matches in stadiums for ten years, an order he violated in April 2022, which resulted in him being arrested again.
