Protests cause 140 fires in Paris on Thursday

140 fires and bonfires broke out in Paris in connection with the ninth day of mobilization against the pension reform, representatives of the Metropolitan Police Prefecture said, according to Le Figaro on March 23.

According to the police, on the streets of Paris on Thursday, during the protests, 140 arsons of garbage or other movable property were committed. These arson fires turned into bonfires and fires. According to the LCI, forty of these fires were continuing as of 11:00 p.m. local time.
