This Sunday, during an operation carried out by the Guardia Civil in Barcelona, a man was arrested with almost 500 kilograms of material in an underground workshop for the production of explosives.
The Civil Guard said in a statement that the detainee was 41 years old and lived on an isolated farm in the municipality of Montmayor, in the Bergada district of Barcelona. The suspect may be running an illegal online business.
468 kg of precursors of explosives and chemical products were seized. 2.2 kilograms of a ready-made explosive mixture were also seized.
