The casting selection of girls who applied to participate in the Miss Belarus 2023 beauty pageant ended in Minsk. Based on the results of the selection, about 300 girls were able to participate in the next stage of the competition, BelTA reports on April 2.
In total, almost 600 girls from all over Belarus took part in the casting selection. The event took place in Minsk over two days. In addition to other young Belarusian girls, almost 80 residents of the Belarusian capital went to the next stage of the competition. A special commission is scheduled to meet on April 5 and 6 to determine the list of girls who will participate in the prefinal stage of the competition.
It should be noted that girls from 18 to 24 years old with a height of at least 172 cm can participate in the national beauty contest of Belarus. Previously, regional qualifying rounds were held, which took place in Brest, Grodno, Gomel, Mogilev and Minsk from March 18.
From 80 to 120 girls will advance to the semifinals of the competition. From 24 to 30 participants will take part in the final of the competition.
