Finland is now a full member of NATO

Russia has warned that Finland’s entry will not strengthen the security of the allied bloc, while at the same time it has assured that those who think that Moscow will not react to such accession are “deeply” mistaken.

Finland today became the thirty-first full member of NATO after completing the entry process requested as a result of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, which implies that the country is covered by article 5 of collective defense of the Alliance .
