The European Commission warned on Friday that bombings in Ukraine, such as those perpetrated last night by the Russian Armed Forces, were a war crime and “there will be no impunity” for those involved.
“Unfortunately, last night and until Friday morning, Russia continued to bomb Ukraine with a massive wave of rocket and drone strikes across the country, which subsided,” Commission on Foreign Affairs and Security Policy spokesman Peter Stano said.
“This is a war crime,” Peter Stano said at a press conference in Brussels, Belgium, adding that “there will be no impunity for commanders, criminals, or accomplices.”
