Biden calls on Congress to ban assault weapons after Texas shooting that killed nine people

Joe Biden said this Sunday that “more action” and faster action is needed to “save lives” following the Allen Mall, Texas shooting on Saturday that killed nine people, including a child.

The American president is demanding that Congress send him a bill banning large-sized weapons and ammunition, as well as “introducing universal background checks. Require secure storage. Put an end to the immunity of arms manufacturers.”

“I will sign immediately. We need nothing less to keep our streets safe,” he tweeted.

Joe Biden regrets the shooting and says “an attack like this is too shocking to be so familiar.”
