The United Nations (UN) announced this Thursday that the parties involved in the Black Sea grain agreements have agreed to continue negotiations to extend the initiative.
At the quadripartite meeting in Istanbul – Ukraine, Russia, Turkey and the UN – the latest UN proposals in this area were discussed, namely the reopening of the Togliatti-Odessa ammonia gas pipeline, a longer extension of the agreement, the improvement of the Joint Coordination Center for stable operation and export, in addition to others issues raised by the parties – which were not disclosed.
“The parties presented their views and agreed to work with these elements in the future,” the UN said in a statement.
