The demonstration called by Chega and billed by André Ventura as “the siege of Rato against the corruption and impunity of the PS” brought together about 200 people this Saturday. About twenty agents from the PSP rapid reaction teams, accompanied by several vehicles, set up a security perimeter and cut the road in front of Largo do Rato.
Leader Chegi stated that “the actions are different from what we had in a democracy, precisely because the PS surrounded and stole our democracy.” “Unconditional” and “extremely undemocratic” is how the PS classified this initiative. “The PS does not harass itself and does not allow Chege to intimidate itself,” warned the Assistant General Secretary of the PS.
