The areas of Évora, Faro, Setúbal, Santarém, Beja and Portalegre will be under a yellow warning from 12:00 to 21:00 this Monday due to the forecast for showers, sometimes heavy, accompanied by thunderstorms and strong gusts of wind, which may be hail. .
A Yellow Alert is issued by IPMA whenever a risk situation arises for certain weather dependent activities.
IPMA predicts periods of very cloudy skies on the continent this Monday, mostly very cloudy in the southern region, and showers, more often in the afternoon, in places heavy and accompanied by thunderstorms and strong wind gusts, in particular in the central and southern regions.
The forecast also indicates a generally light wind that will become moderate from the northwest on the west coast in the afternoon, with occasional moderate to strong winds in the highlands.
A slight increase in maximum temperature is also expected in the Northern and Central regions.
Minimum temperatures will range from 6 degrees Celsius (in Bragança) to 17 (in Faro), while maximum temperatures will range from 21 (in Guarda) to 30 (in Lisbon and Santarém).
