The Tax and Customs Administration (AT) has posted 2022 IRS calculations on the Financial Portal that are “in process”, indicating that taxpayers have not registered the IBAN or that it is invalid.
In a statement posted to the portal, AT said it is “making efforts to ensure that the payment of the IRS refund is made within a significantly shorter period than the statutory period (until August 31 if the income tax return is delivered within the legal period).
Thus, “the IRS/2022 settlements ‘in process’ were available on the Financial Portal because the IBAN was not listed on the IRS declaration or because the IBAN listed there is not valid,” according to the same note.
