The alarm was raised at 10:20 p.m. due to a fire in a cell in Linho Prison.

Nine Alcabideche firefighters arrived on the scene, supported by three vehicles and a Medical Ambulance and Resuscitation Vehicle (VMER) from Cascais.

The fire was extinguished by prison guards, and firefighters took over the aftermath, the same source added.
