Sonya Jesus has already entered the courtroom. He began by explaining that he knew the groom was using hashish, but had “no idea” that he was also using cocaine.
“It was a big shock for me to come across cocaine use,” said the former Big Brother contestant.
Sonya reveals that Vito wrote her a letter confirming that he used cocaine when he was already under arrest. He said that they agreed to meet in prison and ended up both crying.

When asked about the family’s sources of income, Sonia also explained that Vito was talking about extra work and that she didn’t understand why. The rationale the groom gave him was that he wanted to buy a gift or a surprise.”

The judges are already hearing defense witnesses.
