This afternoon, a woman lost her trail while parking her car in Praia da Boa Nova, in Lesa da Palmeira, and the car ended up falling off the wall below, hitting the rocks.
The driver, who was the only occupant of the car, emerged from the crash unharmed, according to Matosinhos-Lens Volunteer Fire Chief Antonio Amarala, with no injuries reported. The commander also said that the parking lot is located a meter from a wall about two to three meters high.
There were seven operatives from the Matosinhos-Lis Volunteer Fire Department, supported by three vehicles. There was also an INEM ambulance and resuscitation vehicle (VMER) with three elements and a four-element bathing rescue service supported by two vehicles on site.
The Marine Police is investigating the cause of the accident.
