On Saturday morning, a group of men attacked an octogenarian woman in Vila Verde, Braga. The brutal attack took place at the home of the victim in Vila Verde, Braga district.
A group of thieves broke into the home of an octogenarian on Prof. Abel Madeira Street in Lugar de Laga early in the morning. The attackers were surprised and attacked the woman, pressing her against a barbed wire net. The victim received minor injuries to his arms and legs, as well as his face.
The group then entered the house, managed to find the gold and money that the woman kept. The thieves fled and were never seen again.
The Vila Verde GNR and the CID Core were called.
Law enforcement agencies are investigating the whereabouts of the suspects.
The victim was taken to the Braga hospital by Vila Verde firefighters.
