Pope forgives 82 crimes of Rui Pinto

The said decision emphasizes that “the defendant, given his age at the time of the commission of the crime, is subject to the said law.” This point is important, since the amnesty law only applies to young people under 30 years old. Rui Pinto is 34 years old, but the crimes he is accused of were committed before the age of 30.

In this regard, the collegiate court decided to postpone the announcement of the verdict until July 31 or September 11, depending on the date of entry into force of the Amnesty Law and taking into account the court holidays.

Judging by the document, not all crimes that Rui Pinto is accused of are subject to amnesty. Crimes related to cybercrime (illegal access and computer sabotage) and extortion will be excluded, that is, 82 will fall out of the total of 90. Will decrease.
