Judicial police detained a 50-year-old man for stabbing his ex-wife to death last Sunday when he went to the victim’s home to deliver his underage son, with whom he spent the weekend, to Vila do Conde.
As a result, the detainee quarreled with the current partner of the ex-wife, inflicting four blows on the victim with a knife. The woman is in critical condition and has been hospitalized.
According to the JV statement, between the man and “the ex-wife was a relationship marked by the divisions inherent in the end of a relationship.” The victim has already filed a complaint against her ex-husband for domestic violence.
The man was present at the first judicial interrogation and was forced to stay at home with an electronic bracelet.
